Alright, I just heard something that really disturbs me.

Seeing how it's summer time and people are out swimming in the public pools, I think they should know something. Apparently females think it's OK to swim in the pools while they're on their period!? Somebody please tell me this isn't true!

I don't want to hear your reasoning and logic on how that tampon is like an air-tight cork because it's not. You know it and I know it so don't give me that shit. Fact is, you're leaking bloody bodily fluids into a body of water that people are swimming in! That kid that swallowed some water accidentally, shouldn't have to drink your nasty fluids.

Also, I heard through my girlfriend that it's common for females to flush pads, tampons, and wrappers down the toilet like it's no big deal. My girlfriend doesn't do that, but 99% of the girls she knows does. That's just so sick. After hearing that, I refuse to drink water from the faucet ever again.

OMG they flush TAMPONS down the TOILET? For CRISSAKES, somebody may want to CRAP in there! Little fyi here, the water that comes out of the faucet does NOT interact with the water going down the toilet drain...not unless the plumbing is seriously screwed up.

The problem with idiots who flush pads and tampons is those things block pipes and can force an entire floor to be dug up to remedy the problem. Women who flush them are either lazy, illiterate, or poorly raised.

But sorry, I really can't excuse your attitude, zero_tol. We'd all have to be laminated in inch thick plastic to avoid letting any body fluids out when we swim. What about spit, does that bother you a much as menstrual blood? Do you really think no one pees in the pool? Why do you think they use chlorine, for the sweet smell?

There are women out there with very poor judgement on hygiene yes. But think about it how many people in the swimming pool dont clean their ass good before getting in? Many diseases are carried in feces. Sweat, Piss, and snot are also floating around in the water. Dead skin cells, and hair. Lets face it chlorine or not it is still a disgusting thought as to what is in the water with you. May be you shouldn't go swimming at all.

This is why they put chlorine in pool-water.

Personally, I prefer not to swim in a schmeg-laden slurry of chlorine, feces, urine, sweat, blood and who knows what else. I consider it unhealthy.
