Would you rather be blissfully unaware, or miserably aware? If you had to choose, would you rather be:
* happy, oblivious, and stupid
OR
* smart, attentive, but unhappy .

I'm glad I'm forgetful. My problems won't bother me for long.

The stupid people usually are happier than the smart-ones because they are unaware of many things...I've had moments of despair when it looked really nice not to have a functioning brain and to just be stupidly happy without any reason at all, but in the end I'd choose to be aware and mostly happy.
